The University of Texas at Tyler Over 18,000 college students are enrolled in Tyler's four local universities and colleges. UT Tyler is one of the fastest growing University of Texas campuses with an outstanding College of Engineering and Computer Science and its innovative Ingenuity Center. At Tyler Junior College students can earn an associate degree in computer gaming and graphics. The University of Texas Health Science Center at Tyler is a leader in biotechnology. Texas College provides 16 baccalaureate degree programs.

GetIT - Greater East Texas Information Technology Professionals meet monthly to network and facilitate exchange of technology information between each other and businesses in the community.

Tyler Area Chamber of Commerce Technology Committee - meets quarterly to address area opportunities in information technology, Internet, telecommunications, biosciences, and other technology-related areas that benefit the business community.

Tyler4Tech - A consortium of local civic, education and private enterprise leaders whose goal is to attract new and existing tech companies, entrepreneurs and skilled workers to Tyler.

Leadership Tyler - Leadership Tyler offers training opportunities to business leaders and companies. While not tech-specific, Leadership Tyler is a networking opportunity unlike any other where participants forge lasting relationships with individuals from many of Tyler's most prominent organizations.
